Title VI
Public notice of rights under Title VI
Green Hills Regional Planning Commission (GHRPC) hereby gives public notice assuring the compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, Executive Order 12898 on Environmental Justice, and related statues and regulations in all programs and activities.
Any person who believes they have been discriminated against because of race, color, sex, or national origin, under Title VI has the right to file a formal complaint with GHRPC. Any such complaint must be in writing and filed with the GHRPC’s Title VI Coordinator within one hundred eighty (180) days following the date of the alleged discriminatory occurrence.
